Here is the official announcement from the OKC organizers, Tommy Yi and Jason Trout :

Hey everybody! I just wanted to remind everyone that Jason Trout and I have been hard at work organizing and bringing back Startup Weekend here in OKC. Some of you may remember this event from the okcCoCo days.

This time, we’re doing it officially as part of Startup Weekend. Also, this event aligns with Global Startup Battle week, so participants and winners from the OKC event will be able to move on and compete against other participants across the globe!

We have an outstanding roster of judges, mentors/coaches and speakers. Please tell your co-workers and friends about this event. We have some great sponsors for the event and I want to make a BIG impression for them and have a huge attendance so that they will sponsor even more events in the future.

This is a great event to network and meet new friends, possible new co-workers or even a possible new business partner.

This blog is dedicated to providing advice, tools and encouragement from one entrepreneur to another. I want to keep this practical and accessible for the new entrepreneur while also providing enough sophistication and depth to prove useful to the successful serial entrepreneur. My target rests somewhere between the garage and the board room, where the work gets done and the hockey stick emerges.
