VentureSpur 2013 Dallas Pitch Day Profiled in the Dallas Business Journal
VentureSpur’s 2013 Dallas Pitch Day was profiled in the Dallas Business Journal, with a focus on the four startup companies that were based in Dallas for the 12-week acceleration program.
Of special note to the author, Danielle Abril, was the announcement by startup SPARXlife that they were re-locating their headquarters from Los Angeles to Dallas, Texas:
SPARXlife developed a platform that is meant to help people discover their next step in life and match them with relevant resources. The platform uses a series of questions to determine users’ strengths, passions, awarenesses and relationships and create a connection to relevant groups, such as universities, training, books and jobs.
The company initially began in Los Angeles but decided to base itself in Dallas after going through the accelerator.
