We have announced our program schedule and deadlines today. Please take special note of the June 6, 2012 deadline for applications for admission to the accelerator program.

Venture Accelerator Announces First Accelerator Class Schedule
Deadlines for application, admission announcement, program start and Pitch Day announced


OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (February 29, 2012) – VentureSpur, the new seed fund and venture accelerator in Oklahoma City, announced its 2012 accelerator program schedule today. The accelerator is looking for three companies to participate in the first 2012 class, and will be accepting applications at its website through June 6.

Finalists will be announced on June 13, 2012 and will be listed on the accelerator’s website and be authorized to use the “VentureSpur Finalist Badge” on their website and marketing materials.

Between the June 6 deadline and July 6, Finalists will be invited to make a quick presentation in person or by web video to the accelerator management and investors.
On July 6, the three winning companies will be announced and will receive seed funding and admission to the accelerator program.

The first three-month accelerator “boot camp” program will start on August 6 and will continue through November 5.

Throughout the boot camp, startups will office in VentureSpur’s downtown Oklahoma City facility, receive mentorship and advising, and participate in workshops and seminars on critical startup topics. They will be authorized to use the “VentureSpur Winner Badge” on their website and marketing materials.

Pitch Day will be on November 6. During Pitch Day, venture capitalists, angel investors and industry champions will converge in Oklahoma City to hear presentations from the three companies and to review any product or service prototypes.
