Purpose Match launches kickstarter campaign

PurposeMatch Find Purpose and Live it.PurposeMatch, a graduate of our 2012 accelerator program, launched a KickStarter today to push their purpose-discovery system to the next level.

The PurposeMatch team seeks to help people discover their life purpose and match them to real opportunities to grow and live a purpose-filled life.

“Ever asked yourself, ‘What the heck do I do with my life?’  You’re not alone…an entire generation of young adults admits to feeling stuck or lost. PurposeMatch helps people get unstuck,” says co-founder and team visionary Shannon Meairs.

Currently, PurposeMatch offers a beta purpose-match system online, providing users with the opportunity to discover “SPARX” –  STRENGTHS, PASSIONS, AWARENESS, and RELATIONSHIPS – and match them to their purpose matches “X”.

Shannon explains, “We believe purpose is about living in a particular way. It’s about journeying through life with intentionality, aware of the intersections between what you offer, what you hope for, and what the world needs…and acting on that awareness. Any time you’re doing what you’re good at and what you love, to meet an important need in the world, alongside people that bring out the best in you, you’re living with purpose.”

The PurposeMatch beta system has been tested on young adults aged 20-35 and on high school students with over 95% of users reporting that their SPARX profile was a very strong representation of who they were and what they were all about.
