JumpPhase Ventures Featured in Journal Record Innovator Article
JumpPhase Ventures was featured in the Journal Record, the primary business publication of Oklahoma City.
The article focused on JumpPhase Ventures’ work as the producer of the LaunchOklahoma venture accelerator and on this year’s standout startup company, vakargo, which is building a peer-to-peer marketplace for travelers to sell space in their luggage for low-cost, high-reliability international shipping.
Vakargo is in the midst of closing a seed round and launching a beta version of their mobile app in anticipation of the Asian New Year celebrations in February 2015.
From the article:
“JumpPhase loves running accelerators in Oklahoma,” Epperson said. “The entrepreneurs are genuine and enthusiastic, the businesses are real, solving real problems, and the instruction and mentorship that we deliver appears to have a real and lasting impact on the startup community and on economic development in the state.”
