VentureSpur attending the OwlSpark Accelerator Pitch Day | VentureSpur Accelerator

I will be representing VentureSpur Accelerator at the inaugural OwlSpark Accelerator Pitch Day tomorrow, Thursday, August 15 at Rice University.

VentureSpur’s blog announcement:

VentureSpur’s Managing Director, Kraettli L. Epperson, will be attending the inaugural OwlSpark Accelerator Pitch Day on Thursday, August 15 at Rice University.

OwlSpark is a venture accelerator oriented towards launching startups from the Rice University community. A description of the program from the OwlSpark website:

OwlSpark features a 90-day summer accelerator experience for nine teams at Rice University.  By providing initial seed investments, co-working space in Rice’s BioScience Research Collaborative building (the BRC), a living stipend of $1,000 and relevant industry mentorship over the three months (including lead mentors, who will spend eight to ten hours per week with their respective companies, and general industry mentors, who are widely available to all companies for on-call advice), we give our portfolio companies all the resources they will need to succeed.

At the end of the 3-month summer program, OwlSpark will host a pitch day during which all of our companies will present their business models to Houston VC’s and Angel Investors.

This blog is dedicated to providing advice, tools and encouragement from one entrepreneur to another. I want to keep this practical and accessible for the new entrepreneur while also providing enough sophistication and depth to prove useful to the successful serial entrepreneur. My target rests somewhere between the garage and the board room, where the work gets done and the hockey stick emerges.
