Thanks to the OpenBeta organization, The 404 co-working facility, and everyone who came out for another fantastic SpringBeta tech event! LaunchOklahoma is excited that we could be a sponsor at the event and see so many entrepreneurs, startups, and techies from the community.

The event was held at the IAO Gallery in the Film Row area of Downtown Oklahoma City and featured tech talks, startup booths, a 90 second quick pitch contest, and an after party at The 404 co-working facility next door.

One of our own mentors, Jeff Moore, sat in the panel of judges for the quick pitch contest featuring four companies who accepted the quick pitch challenge: BattlePerks, Neoporter, Anytime Propane, and Bad Voter.

It was great to hear fresh ideas from each pitch team! In case you missed the pitches, here is a quick summary:

• BattlePerks: Rewarding gamers for doing what they love by offering prizes through partnered retailers.
• NeoPorter: Babysitting on-demand through a subscription based service with vetted “helpers.”
• Anytime Propane: A self-serve kiosk for propane tanks that conveniently takes less than a few minutes.
• Bad Voter: A non-profit organization promoting voting through social media sharing of voting statuses.

Neoporter – represented by CEO, Mona Vaughn and recently announced as a LaunchOklahoma Semi-Finalist – won the pitch competition.
