VentureSpur Welcomes New Mentor Roy Georgia!
We are pleased to announce Roy Georgia as an addition to the 2014 VentureSpur mentor roster!
Roy is an entrepreneur based in the Oklahoma City area who has been active in the startup community since 2002 when he founded his first company, MEDIBIS. The company provides business intelligence Software-as-a-ServiceĀ for the Ambulatory Surgery Center industry.
After selling MEDIBIS in 2008, he has co-founded two mobile startups, BuzzVoice and RaiseMore. Roy first came to VentureSpur’s attention when RaiseMore was selected as one of four companies to join the premier VentureSpur Accelerator Class of 2012.
RaiseMore went on to become a standout success of the 2012 class, raising more than $500,000 in follow-on venture capital on a multi-million-dollar valuation within 90 days of Pitch Day 2012.
