VentureSpur is excited to announce Community Open Office Hours are traveling to the University of North Texas (UNT) on Friday, April 4, 2014 to hold open office hours hosted by the Innovation Greenhouse! The Innovation Greenhouse’s initiative is to encourage students from all academic backgrounds to be entrepreneurial inside and outside the classroom.

VentureSpur will hold office hours at UNT on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2:30-5:00 p.m. with an introductory presentation to the VentureSpur Acceleration Program beginning at 2:00 p.m.

This year, rather than holding all of our Open Office Hours at our offices, VentureSpur is venturing out to locations throughout the US to hold Open Office Hours.

Community Open Office Hours provide entrepreneurs the opportunity to sit down for a private, one-on-one 15-minute consultation with VentureSpur Managing Director, Kraettli L. Epperson.

We encourage all Innovation Greenhouse and UNT students, alumni, and staff/faculty interested in learning more about VentureSpur and accelerators to RSVP and attend the introductory presentation at 2:00 p.m.

Any entrepreneurs considering applying to the 2014 Acceleration Program or any entrepreneurs who would like to receive feedback on a startup idea to sign up for a 15-minute session.

There are limited 15-minute sessions available, so sign-up ASAP! Slots will go quickly!

Interested in applying to the 2014 Accelerator Program? An initial application need only include a resume, business outline and a Powerpoint presentation or executive summary of some kind.

Receiving these prior to scheduling an Open Office Hours meeting helps VentureSpur to provide serious applicants with the most attention and allows us to make the best use of your time by reviewing your startup beforehand.  Please email materials to info@venturespur.com for review prior to your scheduled meeting.

About the Innovation Greenhouse:

In January 2013, UNT launched the Innovation Greenhouse, a campus-wide program to encourage students of all disciplines to be entrepreneurial in and outside the classroom. Since opening, the Innovation Greenhouse has helped launch 13 student-led startups and hosted numerous programs and events.
